City Planning Commission denies alcohol permit at Planned Casino

Plan for a casino at Bob’s Cafe building in Sioux Falls has hit a major roadblock with The Sioux Falls Planning Commission rejecting the request for a special permit that allows the owner of the location at 1312 W 12th Street to sell alcohol.

Adam Roach, the neighborhood service coordinator for the city of Sioux Falls, has stated that they feel there is an undue saturation of alcohol establishments along the corridor and within the vicinity of the site.

Now, the owner of the casino has five days to appeal or else they have to wait six months to re-apply.
