"ognjen1989do" Turns Free SCOOP Main Seat From PokerNews into $4.1K!

2022 SCOOP

PokerNews ran an exclusive and epic promotion last week that handed out 2022 Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) tickets like they were confetti. More than $16,000 worth of SCOOP Main Event and Women's Event tickets were added to a pair of freerolls and an $11 buy-in tournament. One player, "ognjen1989do" went on to pad their bankroll with $4,106 after securing a $1,050 SCOOP Main Event seat.

The $11 buy-in tournament was dripping in added value thanks to the champion also receiving a $10,300 SCOOP Main Event seat, the runner-up banking a $1,050 seat, and third, fourth, and fifth place getting their hands on a $109 ticket.

Popular stream BigGustago, playing as "adrf1999" on PokerStars, was the unfortunate soul who burst the money bubble. His exit paved the way for the surviving 53 players to see a return on their $11 investment.

We had to give a mention to "AnFiieLD." Who finished in sixth place. AnFiieLD. reeled in a $125 score for the efforts, but missed out on one of the added seats by a single place.

"MrBarney1," "rasmax," and "Jubei Savona" crashed out in sixth through fourth place, adding a $109 SCOOP Main Event seat to the $170, $232, and $317 cash prizes they enjoyed.

"ognjen1989do" lost heads-up to "SantaVariancia" and added a $1,050 SCOOP Main Event seat to their $433 prize, while the champion netted $591 plus a $10,300 SCOOP Main Event ticket.

While the $109 and $10,300 seat winners did not manage to progress into the money places in their respective events, the experience will have no doubt done their game wonders. Our tournament runner-up, however, went deep in the $1,050 SCOOP Main Event, eventually falling in 161st place from 4,408 entrants for a $4,106 payday! A fantastic result from a free ticket, we are sure you will agree.

Almost a SCOOP Champion From a Freeroll Entry!

We almost had a similar success story from our freeroll that awarded the top 20 finishers a $109 SCOOP Main Event ticket. Popular streamer Josh Manley busted close to the bubble in 51st place from 6,000 runners, narrowly missing out on one of our freebies

Brazil's "Wessley:)50" won one of the 20 seat and went on to finish finished 4,598th from 25,534 with the tournament paying 3,567 places.

There was a great turnout for our PokerNews Ladies SCOOP Freeroll with 1,541 players entering. Each of the nine finalists won a $109 Women's event ticket, 10th through 20th received a $22 Women's event ticket, and 21st through 50th banked a $5.50 ticket.

Streamer "LimeRickey" grabbed hold of a $109 seat but didn't make it into the money places in the target event. "Janandilla" also got a $109 seat and managed to finish 29th in the target event for $200 with bounties included, a great result.

Canada's "Crzcanuck2" won a $22 seat in our freeroll and turned that into $37 thanks to a 56th place finish, but a doff of our cap to "Valyakruk" of Belarus who crept into the prize pool in our freeroll, finishing 48th for a $5.50 ticket, but then finished fourth in the Women's event for a $171 score. Imagine if she had become a SCOOP champion from our freeroll! Maybe it'll happen next time around?

Stay tuned to PokerNews as we bring you more exciting promotions, freerolls, and exclusive tournaments in the future.
